I have setup mc2xml successfully with one exception. I need to change the Channel ID in the xmltv file generated to match the Channel ID in my m3u8 file so the channels will map correctly. There is a -R option to setup a .ren file with display id replaements, but it does nothing to the Channel ID. That stays the same. Any ideas?

Yes, that's what mine looks like as well. Does this change the actual Channel ID line in the xmltv file or does it just change the display name section and keep the original channel id?
Why not approach it from the other direction and change your m3u8 file?
