Hello friends !!!!

Kodi is crashing on me on start up and also once it gets past 1st run , when I try to install a source (unknown sources are off) from Kodi repo. This all coincided with a windows update. I even rolled back the update and have the same results.

I enabled debugging and went through a crash. Attached are the logs.

EDIT _ This also happens on portable and also a 17.3 fork as well.

I can do some things with the computer....... Can you walk me thru it?

Not sure where to rename it and how....

This suggests that either the addons folder doesn't exist, or the user account you're running kodi as does not have permission to access it.

Does the folder "C:\Users\matt\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons" exist?

If not, create it and try again.

If it does exist, check its security settings. Does your user account have permission to access it (should be full control)? If not, grant permissions and try again.

Sir the folder exists and I checked properties on the %appdata% Kodi folder. It has full permisiions.

I'd gladly pass along team view digits to an admin. In box me.

what source are you trying to install @Mattmaier1975?

Mostly , the silvo skin to play around with. You tube for videos , world star hip hop for laughs.

Ok, anything else I can provide so i can resolve this issue?

As well as enabling debug, could you also enable curl logging? And then restart kodi and try to install just one addon.

Then post your log to pastebin again, and tell us which addon you tried to install.

Enable debug log in kodi settings, restart kodi and trigger the crash

it wont let me go that far. it crashes
