Use Xepg (http://www.a123.dk) to import into the DVBViewer Media Service (DMS). The imported EPG will then automatically show up in KODI.
Since Xepg and thus DMS delivers the EPG in unicode it is recommended the set the font for your KODI skin to Arial based. (Settings > Interface settings > Skin > Fonts).
There is a version of Xepg that works with the old Recording Service (RS). The EPG handling is
completely reworked in DMS compared to RS (DMS is a newer version of RS). The goal of that rework was to support a new tuner type: TS Stream (e.g. Internet TV and IPTV in general) and to make Xepg easier to use.
Importing XMLTV goes easier with DMS than RS.
Xepg does not "know" whether KODI is used or not, so please post any questions/issues here:
