I currently use playon. when using client software for playon, it asks if i want to skip ads. if i answer yes it works great.

If i play through Kodi in any fashion i have no choice to skip ads. however, i have noticed that all videos recorded with playon have bookmarks which line up with the ads.

My question is there a script that would allow me to use those bookmarks to skip the ads.

I have tried using comskip and it seems a bit difficult to understand and i would need frame numbers not times for this example

I don't know of a way to do this automatically like you're asking. There is currently a PlayOn Browser addon but it doesn't skip automatically in kodi like it does in the PlayOn app.
Perhaps you could ask the developer to add that feature?
