Hi Kodifreaks

Is there a way to add the "Videos --> Files" menupoint directly to the homescreen?

I am a Kodi Noob so please be kind and don't answer just with a "yes" or "no" ;-)

Thank you in advance
Depends.
There are maybe 15-20 different skins (pretty much the user interface that defines look and feel). Some skins allow you to change the home screen. Some dont. I use Metropolis which is quite flexible. It has Videos on the home screen as standard but can be changed still
Question is why you would want this. Should movies and tvshows not be enough?
While using Estuary:

- Enter "Videos"
- open context-menu on "Files" (press "c" on a keyboard)
- select "add to favourites"

Then you will find it directly under the "Favourites" on your Home screen.

Not really, because I prefer the same view as I would navigate through the file-system itself.
My opinion is: Every additional klick is less comfortable if you don't really need it ;-)

Thank you
It would help if you tell us which skin you are using.

Estuary, thank you.

Edit: I guess the solution with "Favourites" would be the only solution if I want to use the default skin?
