Full Version: Samba wont work

Hi my smb protocol wont work on tv box, with modded kodi. There even is no selection in sources list. When i try manualy add source there is error that i cant access this source, but from mobile and other pc i can access it via kodi's, so there is nothing wrong with windows share.
In log i getting this error:

Please provide the full kodi.log please, uploaded to a pastebin website preferably.

Also, as per various updates in not only Windows but Linux and Kodi as well, SMB v1 is no longer supported. SMB v2 or 3 is now the default support.

It seems like manualy disabled or even removed just in one device, other ones works fine.
you are not running kodi. Ask whoever provides this plius.tv

Its modded kodi, i just want to know why smb wont trigger.
We don't support modified versions here. Once it's been changed, it's no longer Kodi.

As we don't know what they might have done under the hood, anything we say here may or may not be relevant or accurate. So if you're using someone elses version, they are the ones you need to ask for support.
