Using 17.3, whenever Window 10's screensaver activates, Kodi becomes unresponsive and must be restarted. I found a really old bug report stating this was fixed. https://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/11618

I use an OLED TV for my HTPC/Gaming computer, so I can't disable the Windows screensaver completely. I have Kodi's screensaver disabled as I figured that was conflicting, but that also did not fix it. I have Kodi launch in "Fullscreen #1" which should (ideally) prevent the screensaver from working but doesn't.

I can't speak for the problem you have, but I fail to see why you'd need a screensaver. Just disable the Windows screensaver and turn the TV off when you don't use it? You'll save power as well.
