Full Version: Video Scaling Method - options missing (can only select auto or bilinear)

Hi, no matter what i choose (auto / software / dxva / pixel shader +/- dxva2) i have no other filtering options than auto or bilinear, what gives?

gpu: AMD HD5450 - cat. 15.17.1
os: Windows 10 x64
monitor: LG 60PN6500
sound rendering / image passthrough: Panasonic Sc-btt885 (bitstream)
That's because the video you're playing requires less scaling than that set on "Enable high quality scalers for scaling above:".
In fact it doesn't require scaling at all, as you're playing 1080p video on a 1080p tv.
If you play an eg 720p video you'll see the other scalers.
You can also set that setting at 0% and you'll have the options of other scalers on 1080p material too, but I don't think that is sane. If there's gonna be any impact at all, I don't think it'd be a good one.
I have it at 10%.
