I'm using the 3-23-08 T3CH build.

I live in Utah and right now it is 10:04, but XBMC displays 9:04. I went to Settings>Appearance>Region and the time zone says MST, which sure enough is my time zone. I decided to turn off Internet time synchronization and manually do the time. After I turn it off, I go to the time and select it to manually push it ahead an hour...and XBMC instantly freezes and I have to reset it.

What do you think?
well considering you're probably observing Daylight Savings Time, aren't you supposed to be using MDT? MST is standard, meaning there is no Daylight Savings observed.
see here:

as opposed to

so XBMC isn't wrong, you just don't know what timezone you're in.

Ok well that worked great. Thanks. But since Utah always observes DST, what use is MST as a time zone anyway? Who would ever use it if it doesn't acknowledge DST, a state-wide standard?
do all states in the mst observe daylight savings? I'm pretty sure Arizona doesn't... :|
yeah, it varies from state to state, Daylight Savings really isn't a universal thing.

Glad you got it figured out though.
daylight savings is kindof retarded in 2008 when you think about it.
