Kodi always crashes at the splash screen. This is what I've already tried:
- Installing an older version av Kodi (15, 16)
- Installing via (Windows) Store
- Reinstalling graphics drivers
- Updating graphics drivers
- Changing from 144hz to 60hz
- Run as Administrator
- Removing Addons27.db
- Removing Roaming\Kodi-folder
- Changing compability mode to Windows 8

Slightly losing my mind about this issue, so any help is appreciated. Thank you!
actually similar for me (Win10 64bit - pretty fresh & clean. Just after the start-up (Kodi in autostart), Kodi crashes. Closing all windows, restarting Kodi and everthing is (almost) fine...
However, I didn't spend too much time yet to fix this...

You also have an Nvidia card?
I'm just trying to see a trend here.
The trend if there is one, seems to be (windowed fullscreen) on screen 0 with size 1920x1080, refresh 144.000000
Second one to-day. first with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 adapter and this one with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti adapter
I suspect the Kodi GUI is running into issues with the windowed fullscreen at that refresh, both failed to make the splash screen.

If you are right on this one, it seems it has already been solved on kodi 18 as everything works for me
Code:
19:30:09.797 T:2924 DEBUG: CWinSystemWin32::SetFullScreen (windowed fullscreen) on screen 0 with size 2560x1080, refresh 144.000000
(windows 10 Pro 64bits and Nvidia GTX 980 Ti)

Since I don't really have anything to lose, I tried it with Kodi 18 as well. The issue still persists.

Probably a long shot bug seeing the last line of your logs, try to disable IPV6 in windows
this used to happen to me, try alowing all communication for Kodi through your firewall.

Tried to do that using
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...in-windows and following
Disable IPv6 on a specific network adapter. Issue persists.
