Hi there,

I want to use kodi without any x server/desktop evironement.
I'm on odroid XU4 board, and i don't have good performances with x server while reading a video. (And the kodi interface is slow)

But when i tried to run mplayer (putting video output to fbdev) in the tty the decoding perfs were good.
So i wonder if there is a way to launch kodi without X. 

By the way, is it normal to have slow kodi interface when glmark2-es2 gives prety decent results ?

Jep - just build kodi for GBM platform (current master) or if you have wayland support for wayland.

I tried to build the master but i don't see what GBM is, so it's same as usual, i can't launch it without X. And in a desktop environement, the interface is slow , and video reading is slow

I don't know yet if i have wayland support :p
