If we install locally - switching from the former repository - I'm guessing that we then no longer receive automatic updates?
So when is it that Kodi adds the latest update to the repository? Do we all first vote on whether it's a worthy update? If so, I vote...
Anyhow - I know that people must somehow be involved in creating the delay - checking for malicious code or whatnot? Because the update is available - but not yet in the esteemed "official" repository?
About how long does that normally take?
Same here ... would be great if someone can submit the
fixed 0.6.4 of this addon to the official repo - for convenient updating for all users.

Found it in the official repository today. So glad this still works with 17.6.
It shows only the weather for the current day, no foreast is shown on the screen.

You'll probably need to post a video of how you're holding the remote? The weather vane pose is hard to master, especially while clicking just left of the right center button to properly initiate drift... But possibly one of the gurus here might help you out?
I never did figure it out, so I've just accepted the lack of forecast :( It's only ever provided me with current temperature and conditions.

What skin are you using?
For me it started working again yesterday.
Code:
First error seen: 2023-11-27 15:31:00 CET
Last error seen: 2023-12-02 21:11:24 CET
On 2023-11-27 there where only 3 errors (15:31, 16:01 and 16:31)
On 2023-11-29 it started raising exceptions again from 16:06 every 30 min until 2023-12-02 21:11.
Code:
(search "Unhandled exception detected!" (157 hits in 1 file))
After this it seems to work normal agian.
Code:
E.g 2023-12-03 19:44:58.082 T:15896 info <general>: WEATHER: Downloading weather
Code:
(Search "WEATHER: Downloading weather" (1364 hits in 1 file))
Edit (2023-12-04):
Kodi: 20.2 (on Win11)
Gismeteo: 0.6.4+matrix.1
Skin: Estuary (default)

What skin are you using?
Estuary Kodi Standard Skin.
I Found this information on Github:
Gismetro stopped working in Kodi Nexus Skin Esturary - No Weather Preview #28
Not good!
Odd, it's working fine for since the update.
I have tried many skins, but nothing shows me the forecast för the next days.
I'm having a problem with Gismeteo not working/refreshing properly after Libreelec's start (weather widget doesn't work and I get some error from Gismeteo addon). Once I go to the weather tab and refresh manually, everything is working just fine. I'm using the latest version of Libreelec/Gismeteo. Any idea what might be causing this problem?
Having issues with Gismeteo weather as of today. Kodi 21.1/Chromecast 4k. Everything was fine until today. Gismeteo error top right and now only displaying temp. But it's 67' here and displaying 32' F. Unsure the issue just wanted to report.
Edit 1. I went into location and reset to default. Proper weather and forecast popped right up. No more errors. Good deal. This is the fix of it's affecting anyone else.
I was about to ask if gismeteo broke for anyone else. @Matthious7 what do you mean with "reset location to default"? Do you let it use the current location? I can not do that here because it picks the location from the ip, probably, and it is not that accurate.
Here, kodi's log reports 502 or 504 errors on a gismeteo api url, but that url opens fine on the desktop browser 9 out of 10 times. The one time that it fails, it has the same error as in kodi. I think we can wait a little and if it is not a server side issue, I will open an issue at its github repo tomorrow (in 12-15 hours that is).
*Gismeteo stopped loading for me out of the blue today on my iMac~ on attempting to reboot Kodi to refresh & remedy, it froze on exit (I am still on Nexus because I didn't care for the Omega interface presentation for all my media ~ is that causing this?)
