Hi,

i'm really confused here - can someone please shed some light...

There's this plugin which seems to be versioned 3.4.5 atm: https://forum.dvblogic.com/viewforum.php?f=66

And then there's this plugin which i just built on my vero4k-box and seems to have version 4.4.1 https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.dvblink/

Is it the same plugin? If not, which one is better? Are both fully compatible with the dvblogic tv-server?

I've experienced massive problems with the 3.4.5 version (stuttering/stopping/out-of-audio-sync playback, taking ages to switch channels) when i use any kodi version above 17.3. I can not test the 4.4.1-version as i'm at work at the moment - is there any hope that these problems can be resolved with the 4.4.1-version?

Thanks in advance!
3.4.5 is the latest production version for use with Kodi 17. I'm currently using it with Kodi 17.5 without any problems.

As I understand it version 4.x of the DVBLink PVR client is being developed to support the new APIs in Kodi 18. I would steer clear of Kodi 18 and version 4.x because both are under development and are likely to introduce more problems rather than solve those you are seeing. I suggest you try to solve the problems you are seeing in the supported versions. To explore them further here you will need to post diagnostics: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=42708 but a good starting point is to make sure you are using up-to-date drivers for your display.

Thanks for your answer. I've tried two things yesterday:
1. upgrading to Kodi 18 and using DVBLink 4.4.1
2. installing the newest LibreELEC on the vero4k (as mentioned here: https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/vero-4k-and-...w/37536/33)

But whatever i do, all runs well except live-tv which has massive frame-drops and stuttering.
I ended up using the 2017-05-2 - update of my Vero4k again, which includes Kodi 17.3.

It all runs so well on my raspi3 - i wont waste more time on this issue.
