I tried Googling this but found results for hiding notifications or a range of things relating to various pirate streaming addons.  I guess the topic goes in that direction.

Anyway, I'd like to know if I can increase the time that toaster popups in Kodi remain on screen.  When other services send them to my machine I find that they conclude before all the text has scrolled through, so I'd like to increase their time.  I'm unsure if there's an advancedsettings.xml that I could locate or if it's skin specific or hardcoded or what.

I'm pretty sure each addon and skin sets their own timing for those, so unless there are options in the addon or skin to set them, you're probably stuck. The only other option would be to figure out what's generating the notifications and then edit the code.
