I'm Using Kodi 17.5 with a laptop that has AMD Radeon HD6310M GPU and a 4GB RAM. But, playing videos / movies that encoded with HEVC (H265) always stuck when playing, but the HE-AAC 2.0 audio plays smoothly. H264 files works but not HEVC (H265)-encoded files.
How to fix this?
I'm using local MKV files from the HDD of the laptop and the maximum transfer speed is 3Gbps.

Your graphics card has no capabilities whatsoever to accelerate h.265 video, and the laptop CPU is no match either. HEVC/h.265 uses a much more complex video compression that your (old) GPU was not built for.

You will need a much more contemporary hardware solution if you want to play HEVC videos flawlessly and effortlessly.
HEVC support only really started to appear in most mainstream hardware from 2015+

With most older hardware you really need a decent CPU to manage software decoding, most old laptop CPU's aren't going to cut the mustard

H265 hardware decode is pretty much standard in all modern kit now, so you dont have to spend much to get something capable

Just be aware that 8 bit HEVC is much more supported than 10 bit HEVC (usually HDR video) so check what your're playing against the hardware capabilities before you buy anything
For that hardware use H.264 encodes.
