First off got to say I miss the XBMC didn't know they kicked off a newer version.

Also just downloaded got it installed and tried it out and I get that Kodi stopped working

Here is the https://pastebin.com/Exy1YrFw

Any help would be appreciated
Is that Windows XP you are running?
Windows XP supports upto XBMC Gotham, so that is unlikely to run Kodi 17.6.
How the hell did you even get it installed cause that shouldn't be allowed
I have latest windows, i have same problem
@norton77 no debug log (wiki) no issue.
have windows 10 Pro

Edit:
Think I posted one as I was running "Troubleshoot compatibility"

Here's running it with Windows 10

Ok, well that explains the reference to Windows Unknown version SP3

We need debug mode enabled. Can you follow this guide to enable it... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=323719 and repost

Also, just for when you create this log, can you disconnect your second monitor.
Hoped that worked

Yep, that is it.

Seems to be failing around the initialisation of the graphics portion of the log. You are using a AMD Radeon HD 7000 which is almost 6 years old. Should still work with Kodi, but you may need to update your drivers.

Let us know how that works.
eh is it 6 yrs old? my last tower died on me and this is pieced together PC I had lying around -_- but makes sense I'll see what I can do in the driver department thank you

<-< Thanks for added info... lol Thank you good sir on the update part thought I was up to date but I was incorrect.
Also Kodi doesn't like being forced being used with the Crossfire X

the Enable AMD CrossfireX for applications that have no associated application profile ... also made it not start up
Thread marked solved.
