Do you have SPMC installed or something?
Any way you must get rid of the version you have else you will never get an update

Sounds like you are using a Minix. They use different scraper versions. You will need to head to Minix forum for assistance...

Same here on OS X. I'll try to update it again later. I have v.3.9.5.

Problem here too (for TVShows at least). The problem seems to be the API key:
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2671753
{"status_code":10,"status_message":"Suspended API key: Access to your account has been suspended, contact TMDb."}
Edit: I can't find the API key reported in log anywhere. Only on internet: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master...g/tmdb.xml
But I can't find this API on my ~/.kodi/addons or in /user/share/kodi/addons/ O_O Is it possible that my Kodi have something cached?

I'm using KODI 16.1. Is there a way to upgrade TMDb scraper to v.4.0.2. Version 3.9.5 stopped working and any attempts I've made to upgrade it through the UI haven't worked. I could upgrade to the latest version of KODI, but I would also have to upgrade the operating system on my Mac to be compatible. Would that be the way to go? Thanks, Matt

@phase700b
What happens when you try to upgrade? There should be no restriction with the Kodi version.

It briefly says Checking KODI Add On Repository at the top with a progress bar that doesn't seem to move. Then nothing. When I try to upgrade it through TMDb Add-on Information/Settings page it doesn't do anything. I've toggled the Auto-update off and on, clicked on update. Still have v.3.9.5

Ok.
First try to update to the scraper to the current versions as follows...
TMDB 4.0.2
TMDB tvshows 1.4.1 (if you use TMDB for TV Shows)
TMDB common library 2.17.5 (found in settings>system settings>add-ons>dependencies)
To do that, you need to update your Repository first from the sideblade menu as shown here... http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on_manager#Lef...debar_menu

Can't seem to upgrade the repository either. It looks like I have KODI Add-on Repository 2.4.9. I also noticed if I click on "KODI Add-on Repository" it says "Could not connect to repository."

The latest repository is 2.5.10 which is the one with the new scrapers.
Sounds like you may have internet issues?
You will need to provide a debug log. The instructions are in my signature. Use the Basic method. Once you have enabled debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, try to perform an Update Repository. Once done upload to pastebin and link back here. Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs

I think I restarted KODI an extra time at the end there, but I hope this holds a clue. Thanks, Matt
