Please allow media control of a currently playing video/music/TV show like play, pause, stop etc via Amazon echo devices. Allow direct playback of movie/tv show/music that is present in the kodi library for eg we can say "Alexa, play movie Jumanji" or "Alexa, play the next episode of Supernatural" to play the particular movie or episode. Allow searching and direct navigation to movie/tv show/music in kodi for eg we can say "Alexa, jump to movies" to go to the movie library.
I hope that you understand that "allowing" is not quite the same as "programming, testing and implementing". Not to mention getting allowed access to Alexa API internals...

Sorry, by 'allow' I meant to provide the feature within Kodi which allows users to navigate menus, control playback of video etc through Alexa. To provide the feature the developer may need to program, test, implement and perform other tasks to make it work which as an end user I am not aware of. Sorry for the confusion.

Using Emby as a server with Kodi and the Emby Alexa skill is by far the easiest way to use Alexa with Kodi.
That might be worth it... if.... They released it in English-CA
