I'm running a Mythbuntu backend with a SiliconDust HD Homerun Extend. I can watch TV on my backend just fine. On my HTPC, I'm running OpenSUSE Leap 42.3. I can watch TV using the MythTV frontend on that machine, but I can't watch TV using Kodi. Channels shows nothing. The guide does not show up. I found the discussion about hidden characters in the channel information, and I discovered that I had that problem. I removed those special characters through the backend Channel Editor and ran Mythfilldatabase. Still no TV.
