I have a FireTv Stick(latest) connected to AVR, with HDMI output to DVI-D monitor.
Latest stable release is installed and upon launching Kodi one would see the "first time" screen followed by black screen. One can "navigate" through menus hearing "clicks", but nothing is displayed. The problem does not manifest itself with other types of video connections.
I'm posting here, because I found a strange solution online, that works: use the earlier version of Kodi: Jarvis. Last jarvis release on the same setup renders perfectly with no problems. It also must be said that other devices work just fine with this setup(ChromeCast/LaptopConnection)
