hello guys,

I am desperatly looking for a help. I am very sorry if this was already disscused anywhere. Tried already your wiki, tried different forums and wikis too. tried also google and no luck.

I have linux server accessible from outside the internet where there is an dvb-t antenna attached and I would like to stream the dvb-t channels (it's about 5 from 2 diff frequencies) over internet to my parents house. They have kodi on raspberry pi already running.

Tried even to stream using vlc out of my PC, but never got that stream on any device running. (neither the localhost). After the streaming started (tried RTSP, HTTP, file) I have checked the port if open, yes it was.

I could see streaming status in vlc, but not even the localhost could play that stream.

The biggest issue I see is with the client. Even if I'll find out a way to get it out, have no idea how to get it into the kodi  on destination. :/

my setup:
PC running linux with dvb-t tuner attached. Domain and IP. Successfully got the channels running but only localy, only if not streaming is used, just play (button instead of stream).
raspberry pi 3/libreelec/kodi 17 on the destination.

Sorry once again if that was already disscused here and I just overlooked.

Thank you very much for understanding
You can try to setup TVheadend
Or replace your tuner with a network tuner such as vbox TV gateway - that already has remote access functionality and Kodi remote suppot
