Hi everybody,
I have this weird connection problem between Kore and Kodi and I have no idea how to fix it.

I have two Kodi installations:
First usb key: libreelec - kodi v 17.3
Second usb key: lubuntu - kodi v 17.6

I use the usb keys with a NUC connected via cable with my router (wired)

With Libreelec: works ok: I can control Kodi from Kore

With Lubuntu: Kore can't connect. Connects only if I unplug the cable from my NUC so that it works with Wi-Fi (not working when my NUC is connected with the cable)

I've already tried to change port number, open ports on the router, disable firewall...

any ideas?

thanks!
Andrea
An ethernet nic and a wifi nic have different MAC addresses, and normally get different IP addresses as well.
So you should have two different source entries in KoRe to begin with.

I forced the network settings in Lubuntu to have a static IP and actually the IP is the same regardless the type of connection (wired/wireless). Is there any additional settings?

thank you!
