After updating my Kodi 18 nightly to the latest build, something went wrong with movie scraping using both Universal Movie Scraper and TMDB Scraper add-ons.

If the movie folder contains no .nfo file it will not be scraped automatically when I select "scan for new contents" and I am forced to go to the movie information and reload/refresh and scrape manually.

But, I tried and created an empty .nfo and named it exactly as the movie file name, and guess what, it was scraped automatically and perfectly.

In the earlier builds, I was scraping without having .nfo in the movie folder and everything was good.

SPMC Krypton however, scrapes fine without .nfo in the movie folder.

Anyone having the same issue?
I recently added support for mp4/mkv tags, probably explains the behaviour. There are no scrappers in kodi.

Sorry but I didn't get it about no scrapers in Kodi?
There are scrapers. There are no scrappers.
