In older versions of Kodi (or maybe XBMC, I can't actually recall), the resolution of video files was displayed with a small SD or HD badge/icon on the browse screen. In Kodi 17, I see a badge with the video resolution in the lower right corner of the screen (ie, 1080HD) only AFTER a video has been played (or started). If the video has never been played, only the length appears on the bottom right of the screen.
I understand why this is the case, but was wondering if there was a way (or a setting) to pre-scan the files to determine their resolution prior to actually playing them?
Thanks.
