Hi,
downloaded the latest kodi 18 KodiSetup-20180106-cd9ab475-master-x64.exe and my antivirus stopped the download saying it was infected with gen.variant.ursu.43344
The mirror was https://mirror.math.princeton.edu/
Downloaded the same file from other mirror https://mirrors.up.pt/ just fine.
perhaps something to look into.
