As the title says, video judders on Nexus Player with Kodi 16 up, and also on SPMC 17, but not on SPMC 16. Specifically, it happens on interlaced tv source from tvheadend backend. I have tried MediaCodec (Surface) and MediaCodec, with surface being the best.
The best way to see it in action is to use BBC News and look at the scroller. I've got the display set to sync, and change refresh rate.
Another oddity is that if I bring up an OSD overlay over the scroller, it no longer judders.
If one of the devs wants to see this in action and does not have access to tvheadend or BBC News, please let me know and I'll share a temporary account with you via PM that has access to this channel.
