I've come to realize that XBMC has probably the best quality video out of most of the Media Players out there. I think it lacks a few options here and there and I find that the biggest one is the subtitle options. I sometimes watch Japanese anime or sometimes I don't want to play the movie loud but I can't hear so I want the subtitles that are softcoded into the video.
Almost all media players have a menu to edit or adjust your subtitles and I can't seem to find one on XBMC. So unless I'm just missing them completely this is my only suggestions for now.
