Hi total newbie I'm afraid.
Trying desperately to connect kodi to my windows 10 share using advice from kodi wiki. Turned on smb in windows, shared folder on second hard drive (not root) added home group and shared folder with group. On pc can see the folder in home group and in my network drop down on left hand side in explorer. When searching files using smb i get no error but no folder. I can see my pc if i search for files using upnp but I was hoping to amend my content to display nicely and option not available in upnp. Tried 17.6 and 16.1 versions. Any advice? Any way I can verify the share is correct?
