Hi, I always use Kodi without problem watching UHD videos. I have just replaced my videocamera with a camera GH5. I have just made an UHD video with my new GH5 camera. I setting it in UHD  59,94p and 150ftps.
I can't watch my video I have just edited with Edius 9 because the video appears  to be jerky. It is impossible to watch it. If I watch my video with abother software it is without any problem. Do I have to configure something?
Thanks.
To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
Sorry, if I understand well those steps are for a PC. I'm watching videos with Sony 65" 4K.
Thread moved to OS independent for the moment.

Where is kodi itself installed? If it's on the TV itself them is it an android based TV?

In any case the log applies to all versions of kodi running on any supported operating system.
Apparently you are using the Kodi htpc application on your 65" 4K TV to watch your GH5 4K videos which were edited with Edius 9, and they appear 'jerky'. Otherwise you would not visit this forum. Correct? Smile
Do the 4K videos play fine on Kodi before you edit them?

Every Kodi application (for Windows, Linux, Android, etcetera) will create a log file where also certain components within Kodi can be followed more closely in debug mode.
So no, those steps are not solely for a Windows PC. So, have you already read the wiki pages on providing a log file? And how to enabled debugging?
I will pray for you if you can help me. Wink My english is poor and I don't understand well what I have to to get the "debug log". What are the precise steps please?
Now I explain you better. I always use Kodi to watch my UHD videos made with Sony AX100 camera. Kodi worked fine, always! I watch them on my Sony TV KD-65X8509C. It is a n Android TV. Repeat! I watched many UHD videos made with my videocamera. From some days I use a GH5 camera and now I get many problems. It is impossible to watch a video. I inform you I make videoediting with the same software "Edius 9 workgroup" and I get the same file as in past time. But Kodi gets problems to read that file. Repeat, only Kodi because other sofware read that file perfectly.
Thanks for your help!
You should be able to get the debug log (wiki) requested via the log uploader addon. See the wiki link ( <<<<<<) for details (look in the easy method on the page).

It's probably a codec or resolution difference or something like that. The debug log (wiki) may shed some light.
I follow thhese steps: https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy but then I'm lost because I have another language and I was not able to find the right steps.
ANYWAY I have this problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gzaquyqkaji9yu...o.mp4?dl=0
I post what I saw on my TV monitor:

Now I don't know what I can do.
Before I get thgis problem I recorded 100 ftps and not 150 ftps. Maybe is it a bitrate problem?
If you look at one of your images, it tells you where the log is located... Log: /storage/emulated... You need to get that log, open it, copy the contents to https://pastebin.com/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com/ and then give us the address here.

or

You can use the Kodi Logfile Uploader add-on... https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Kodi_Logfile_Uploader

Not a lot we can do without the log.

Please, can you tell me how can I find that log? TV has not folders like a computer. I don't know how can find it. Can you tell me the precise steps please?
I think you have to connect your TV to your computer first.
Use the Kodi Loguploader installed from the repository... https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Kodi_Logfile_Uploader

(i fixed the address in my previous post)

Tomorrow I will try. But how can I extrapolate the Kodi file log from TV and to put it inside the pen drive?

The uploader will directly copy your log file to an internet pastebin site and will provide you with a web URL link. You need to write that link down and then post it here and we will be able to access your log from the pastebin site.
I have dedicated hours to find Kodi log. I am not able to follow all those steps. I also tried with a program called "file manager". I found that folder where is Kodi log but that folder is empty.
Now I'm looking for another program that replace Kodi. I love Kodi but it fell down. Unfotunately I can watch every UHD video shot with the previous camera but not with the new camera. Maybe Kodi get problems with high bitrates.
I have also to unistalled Kodi and installed it again on my Android Sony TV but I get always the same problem. Video is jerky. What a pity!
Now I'm asking all you a suggestion: in my hard drive I have many UHD videos. I cataloged them with the number 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. etc  and Kodi lets see all titles in a row on one page.
Do you know another software that lets see all the titles like Kodi, so that I can click on a title and watch it. I use the program ONLY to watch my UHD videos.
Thanks for your precious advice.
