sorry for my english

I want to buy tv box and i dont know very much about this devices

My demands:
-full hd on aquos tv sharp 39''
-watch films, music
-low energy consuming
-sound 5.1 on external speakers
-run kodi

I think about xiaomi tv box. What are your opinions ?
Work out these first:

- how do you intend to get movies, TV, video clips into Kodi ---> Hard drive or using a home Network ?
- do you have decent home WiFi or will you use the more reliable hardwired Ethernet for Networking ?

- What is the budget ?
- Kodi only box or do you need easy to use Android TV Apps as well ?

- how is audio used - via an HDMI connected AVR audio receiver ?
-by phone, pendrive, i have hdd 40gb on ide, network wifi or lan
-yes i am using wifi everyday
-budget max 70$
-there should also be other applications, although I do not know what I will use in the future
- i have pc speakers from creative p5900 conected to subwoffer, and subwoffer is connected to pc by 3 cable.
You can't watch music.
sorry for my english, listen to music
$69 Xiaomi Mi Box (click)

You have to make sure you get the International, USA Spec, Model MDZ-16-AB - Mi Box
Not the Chinese use only Mi Box 3S, 3C or 4

For audio either plug 5.1 speakers into the TV's headphone socket or use the 3.5mm headphone socket on the Mi Box.
The cable is between subwoofer and pc has 3 jacks

Mi box i will buy from gearbest.com

Maybe you will choose better equipment in this price ?
So mi box is the best choice ?
It's got the best, simple Bluetooth remote for the price you want. Also runs a stable version of Android TV with real easy to use Apps. Comes with proper L1 DRM and HDCP for copy protected video streaming from Netflix, HBO etc.

The other more flexible, faster option is the AMLogic S912 - MECOOL M8S Pro L that also comes with L1 DRM and HDCP plus comes with Android Nougat 7.1
You can choose which Operating system you want with that one. Regular Android tablet / touchscreen OS, Android TV OS or you can even dual boot into a really excellent version of LibreELEC Kodi Krypton.

I would suggest buying a Wireless remote for the M8S Pro L - something like the MINIX A2 lite mini Keyboard remote. Will make the device so much easier to use.

Won't fit.

The new Mecool L comes with a Bluetooth voice remote similar to the one supplied by the Xiaomi Mi remote.  Mine is in transit, should receive next week and I can see how it works with the Mecool box.

Main concern is how will that Bluetooth remote turn on or off the box........  Time will tell.
What is your opinion about: https://www.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_951328.html?wid=91

Maybe  we choose something cheaper and better ?
Maybe something from gearbest.com up to 70$ you will help me to choose ?
This is close to your budget, but the remote is worth $20USD,  There is a coupon for $5 USD off.  The remote is fantastic, voice works and it is a combo Bluetooth/IR.
