The recent demise of Channel 4 HD EPG on Freesat prompted me to use EPGCollector to get EPG from terrestrial broadcast. Not sure if I put all the ticks in the right boxes but couldn't get any colours on the Kodi EPG (Genre text displayed OK). My way round this was to replace the EIT Categories.cfg file in the EPGCollector so that it outputs compatible Genre for NextPVR. This file may not cover all categories but at least its a start. Hope the link works for any brave enough to try it. The file is located in EPGCollector/configuration/program categories. Rename the existing file before pasting this one so you have a way back.
