First of all thank you for this wonderful plugin.

But in the last version, kodi crashes and I start again. This repeats several times. Besides, I'm having instant freezes. I use the plugin directly in Kodi on my RK3229 Android 7 device.

Android 7 is too old, some 7 versons don't work depends on the manufacturer

Could you try to fix the problem with lrm and rlm in inputstream adaptive? It was working before at least for lrm long time ago and stopped working because of changes made in inputstream apdative or Kodi or something else. See here

https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.ad...e03b69adba

peak3d tried fixing it properly before but he didn't mange to find a solution.

https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.adaptive/tree/rlm

It works here in this extension, but I think it differ from inpustream adpative in how the developer dealing with the webvtt subtitles

This post has some examples for subtitles with lrm and rlm.

Anyone able to get smooth Netflix playback on a S922x device with Coreelec? S922x should be more than powerful enough to handle 1080p decoding in software.

I haven't figured out the proper settings for this addon to do that.
Yes, I have smooth NF 1080p (software decoded via inputstream.adaptive) playback on Odroid N2. NF playback depends on CoreElec-Kodi, inputstream.adaptive and widevine versions. It's all discussed on CoreElec forum so search there for the solution. The Netflix addon works OK with default settings, so you maybe have some other problem

Thank you, the subtitles for the Arabic language, for RLM you will find it in "Rick and Morty" in all the episodes and the movie "Bright", for LRM you will find it in "Vikings" and "Teen Wolf" in all the episodes, Right to Left Mark affects on the punctuation marks position in the subtitles.

Is the problem really in the Android version? Because the previous version of kodi and plug-in (16.0) works perfectly. I'll have to use this version for a while.

Audio output through S/pdif on Mi S box Pie beta 3.

Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated

Anyone?
TIA

Thank you so much, could you upload a compiled version of the fixed inputstream adaptive for Kodi 18.5 Leia for windows 10 so I can test it to make sure that everything is ok?
Hello, is version 16.1 only compatible with python version 3.0.0? I'm using Kodi 18.5 but I'm not able to install latest version because of a conflict with python.. And there are some more add-ons with this problem.. any idea what to do?

I installed an older version of Kodi 19 before python 3 downloaded it from here (KodiSetup-20190901)

http://ftp.igh.cnrs.fr/pub/xbmc/xbmc/nig...32/master/

and downloaded your fixed inputstream adaptive from here

https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.ad...ll-merging

and removed some requires from addon.xml and was able to install it and use it.

After testing, the punctuation marks in the subtitles with LRM like "Vikings" were in the right position, but the punctuation marks in the subtitles with RLM like "Bright" was not in the right position, in Arabic the full stop should be at the left end of the line, it looks like this

and this is the same problem I used to have with inputstream adaptive before when replacing RLM and LRM was working, something more need to be done for getting the punctuation marks in the right position in the Arabic subtitles with RLM.

I kept your fixed version of inputstream adaptive intact and installed this file first to the older version of Kodi 19 and was able to install inputstream adaptive and test it, I used the older version of Kodi 19 because the master branch works only with Kodi 19 and I do not know yet how to compile inputstream adaptive by myself to get a version of your fixed inputstream adaptive working with Kodi 18.5. And the Netflix plugin not working with the latest Kodi 19 with python 3 on windows 10 and this post may take longtime before it get updated and merged.
