Hmm unfortunately I don't know from where it installed the package.
All I did was apt update and apt install Kodi.

I think I will install libreelec.

right on, they even have done custom things for pi so your experience could improve over debian at the same time
Hello,
the addon is in the movie description unfortunately only in english since the last update,
although in my netflix app movie description everything is in my language (german). How can I change this in Kodi.

This release fix plot language problem due to website bug

NOTICE FOR KODI v18 Leia --> DEVELOPMENTS STOPPED

Although the add-on is still running on Kodi v18 perhaps with some bugs,
the support for Kodi v18 platform had already been stopped by the mainteiner more than a year ago so around the year 2021.

As of today also the development for its maintenance will also be completely stopped by the maintainer, on other words no fixes will be backported.
Means that changes to the website may lead to the add-on becoming unusable at any time.

This choice is due both to the limited free-time available and because Kodi v18 has become too outdated,
to take into account that we will also soon be 3 generations ahead of Kodi v18, since the Kodi team is working on Kodi v21.

This is a courtesy notice to advise you to start migrating to the new versions of Kodi.
I have the latest v1.20.7 release for Kodi v19 installed on a Zidoo Z1000 Pro media player.

I need to enable Dolby Digital Plus, VP9 and HEVC profiles and HCDP 2.2 video streams.  In this  wiki page,

it states to go into Expert Setting category,  but I don't know how.  After opening the App, I go into Kodi Settings, my only options are:

Interface,  System,  Player,  Add-ons and Skin settings.   None of these give me an option to change Expert Setting category.  Where do I find it?

Hello @jepsizofye  Thanks for your quick reply.  Sorry that I did not say this, but I don't have Kodi installed on any machine on my network. I only have the Netflix Kodi Edition app installed on my  Zidoo Z1000 Pro media player.  I have the app configured to my Netflix account and Netflix opens ok.

But when I try to play anything either the video starts but stays black or a message stays stuck saying "Content loading".

Sometimes I also get a Netflix Add-on Error message "AMPlayback disabled due to exception:"

Ok I have the Kodi app now installed together with this lates Netflix add-on. Previously I only had the Kodi Netflix add on installed. So I am able to go into the Expert settings and enable the different video codecs like VP9,

I can now view most Netflix videos, but for some the video audio plays but only shows the videos art image and for other videos, when trying to open them, I get a message at the top right that says Netflix Add-On Error AMPlayback disabled do to exception: 'percentage'

outside of that youll need someone more familiar with this addon or the developers themselves, im at the end of my working knowledge on this
just need to wait for them to come online or file an official issue on github
Sorry for the bad english. I use Kodi mostly because of the Netflix addon. I have the following problem. I use widgets with which I have set up shortcuts to different sections of the Netflix add-on. Almost every time I login to Kodi when loading the widgets, Neflix logs in 2-3 times. I also get new device is using your account emails. I get 10-15 emails a day depending on how many times I log into Kodi.
This problem is with ARCTIC HORIZON 2 skins, Titan BINGIE MOD, I have also tried with Estuary ModV2 skin.

I am asking for help and assistance.

We are asking you to first remove the orange-colored entry from your Kodi setup as per our forum rules (wiki), so it will be clean from banned add-ons. Then support to you can resume.

I am getting those new device emails from Netflix also every time I use this addon.
I hope it does not result in a ban or so.
Great addon btw , watching Netflix with the subtitles in the right place with the right size is very good.

Within the Netflix Add-on (1.20.8) I get the error 'sequence item 0: expected str instance, dict found' while in NEW AND POPULAR -> NEW ON NETFLIX as well in RECENTLY ADDED and who knows where else.. https://paste.kodi.tv/umuhiwipug
Edit: also in NEW SEARCH, which means I'm barely able to use the Add-on
