Hello everyone, i have a problem with Netflix Add-on. I installed latest version of this addon (13.21, tried 13.20 master), and video playback doesn't work. I open this addon, then it is showing me some error (but only first time), and i can scroll movies but when i want to play something, it is showing me loading ring and nothing happens. What can i do in this situation? I'm using Kodi on XGIMI Projector (Android 5.1 without Google Services). Are Google Services necessary to use this? Maybe that's the problem? I also don't know how to provide logs sorry :/
Also i'm installing it like that: install from zip file -> it is installing every thing, some modules, etc -> i go back to Addons and open Netflix -> logging in -> open video -> it is showing me window requesting to enable input video or something like that -> i enabling this -> video playback doesn't work.

Help :/

(2018-12-01, 14:32)essam315 Wrote: [ -> ]For me not all the contents in 1080p, first do the steps here:

If for any reason the plugin not choosing 1080p when you select auto anymore, Close Kodi and delete the contents of this folder, restart Kodi and try playing the videos.

C:\Users\Essam\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\inputstream.adaptive

Then try to play the movie "Bright", see if it will be in 1080p or not, you need a good internet speed to get 1080p in auto.
I should have mentioned that I did delete the contents of the folder. But I tried again, and played that movie, still came out as 720p. I have cable internet at 20Meg.
Try this official release, it supports 1080P now.

Perhaps it is my system or I am doing something wrong. I stand corrected on my download speed first. I forgot I re-upped the agreement and they bumped me up to 100Meg down. I did some speed tests and averaged 80meg down. I then removed netflix and deleted the contents for the folder. restarted Kodi and installed 13.21. Left all inputstream settings to default. Logged into netflix and tested Bright and Houose of cards. Neither defaulted to 1080p. I went and set adaptive to manual and was able to choose and play the 1080p streams. I think I will just leave it at manual this way I can choose the stream for either the netflix or the amazon movies and shows we watch. It is not critical for me to watch at 1080p. It is just nice to know I have the option to pick it.

Thanks for all your help and hard work. It is really appreciated.

Try opining Netflix in google chrome and go to "Playback settings" in your Netflix profile, and choose "Auto".
OK So I guess I should have tried to watch a whole movie or at least waited until I heard people talking. Since I was only interested in the picture I didn't bother to do that until just now and I realized the default language is German, not English. I tried uninstalling and re-installing. Checked my netflix account settings online just in case. Can't get english. Don't care about 1080p now.

Any thoughts on fixing this?

Try this, right click on the Netflix plugin icon, press on "Settings", stand on "Expert", press on "Enable HEVC" profiles, "Enable HDR profiles", press "OK".

Go back to 0.13.20, if going back to 0.13.20 helped you, you should report about this problem so it can be fixed in the future release, many changes done in 0.13.21 one of them might be the cause for you not being able to play in 4K.

With 0.13.21 go to "Inputstream Addon Settings" and from "Stream Selection" select "Manual" see if you can choose 4K when you play the videos, see here.

Try using this version with your android device, uninstall everything first.

Can you play breaking bad season one in 1080P?
It's not playing at all just sits trying to load it and if I try to stop the stream it will freeze Kodi all together
