BTW the lastest daily works really well for me... Better quality streams (1080p), better synch with new episodes to the library, and even netflix-search works in the addon for the first time for me. I have never uninstalled the addon or deleted any folders or caches since the first version I installed, I have always simply updated back and forth with ZIPs until finding a version that works...

If i read this I think hmm underpowered arm boxes are now able to do 1080p due to some hw acceleration?
I assume you use an intel NUC or an android based setup. But could you please provide some details?
For whatever reason, this plug-in no longer works correctly.  I am able to sign into my account and browse, etc...etc..  I start playing, for instance, "Friends" and the audio is in "real time" but the video seems to be in slow motion.  It used to work many versions ago without any issue and then stopped working correctly even though I didn't update to the newest version.  I updated to the new version last night and still the same issue persists.  I'm running it on CoreELEC if that is of any help troubleshooting what could be causing this?

I tried to watch something else besides "Friends" and upon loading another TV series, the CoreELEC box "locked up" and force rebooted itself.  Not sure what caused that either...

I'm running CoreElec and with the version I mentioned on my previous post I have no issues at all.
Have you tried that?

Wiped everything out Netflix related.  Downloaded your Repo.  Installed from there.  Rebooted.  User/Pass put in... Email from Netflix saying there was a new sign in under my account.  Started Friends.... same result.  Audio is fine but the video is in slow motion.

That's strange. You should not have such issues.
Have you checked / played with the InputStream Adaptive settings?
I have Max resolution secure decoder set to 720p + Ignore display resolution: enabled
(because AMLogic devices are limited to SW decoding 720p Netflix max)

Wrong, AMLogic devices are not limited to SW decoding 720p Netflix. My X92_S912 box can get 1080i and 1080p Netflix with software decoding, but the video is not smooth.
It depends on the streaming material, some 1080i play OK, some are jerky as all 1080p are. It all depends on processor potential, so processor power is the only limitation for software decoding.

My 905x box can also get 1080p but exactly because the video is not smooth, I don't consider it as a viable option.
Most people and CoreElec / LibreElec devs share the same opinion (see links below).
912 boxes are probably more capable and have more power, although the AMLogic linux drivers for 912 seem to not be that great, from what I have read.
I have not tried 1080i and I don't have a 912 box, so you if you have tested 1080i videos and some of them run smoothly I have no reason to doubt you.

I'll mess around with the settings.  I think everything defaulted to MAX if memory serves.  Never occured to me that I would have to go down to 720p - disappointing as I thought the hardware on the Neo would be sufficient for quite some time.

Thanks for the suggestions though.
As of today I got error messages when trying to get a listing from Netflix. Login works and I see my username, but I am not able to get the main lists to load.

It gives an error window saying:  InvalidVideoID: Can only construct a VideoID from a show or movie item

I tried the latest daily and the lasted beta release (22)

Same but my Kodi build with beta 21/fixed is fine.
Tried that version, but it did not help, unfortunately. Still the same error messages.
I have a problem with this netflix addon on my nuc i7-7567u cpu 3.50 Ghz,(windows 10).
Everytime when I play an episode or movie, kodi just shutdown.
My nuc is connected with a lg oled tv, the tv has a connection with my sonos beam, and my 6 sonos speakers by wifi.
I do also have a shield android tv connected to the same tv, on my shield android tv the netflix addon is just working fine.
I did also install the netflix addon on my laptop, acer i7 (windows 8.1), that is also working fine.
