I want to buy remote control to use in my Xbox one x instead of regular Xbox controller.
1. Is official Xbox media remote works good with Xbox apps ?
2. And of course, is it currently work with Kodi app?

If you can recommend on another remote 20-40 $) that works better with all Xbox app, works great with Kodi app and control tv (need only on , off and volume) it will be nice.

I use the 30 to 40 dollar logitech harmony.....works fine. Perfect world for me would be able to pair a firetv remote. I have one paired to my shield and works great

I am sure it works fine.....but better to have remote that controls other things at same time at similar price.

A harmony and Kodi Add-On Keymap Editor works great.

The official Xbox One Media remote works perfectly, I have it.
