Hi,
when I'm starting a livestream on youtube, the video starts for about 5 seconds, then repeats these 5 seconds and then shuts down the stream.
I use version 5.5.0 of the Addon with LibreELEC 8.2.4.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.
Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.
Restart Kodi
3.
Replicate the problem.
If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.
In both instances, you should see the word
DEBUG throughout the log.
Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs

I have the exact same problem. Playing live YouTube streams via browser works flawlessly. When using the same system with kodi on the same stream, it buffers, plays for about 5 seconds, then had continued shuddered play from then on. Playing steams "audio only" loads up about 5 seconds then quits. I'll upload the link to the debug logs to your official support thread.
