I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to transfer mp3 music from my Android to my Kodi? I've tried several things and googled what I'm looking for but I just can't figure it out :/

your question have no much sense. your music is in your android box (locally) if yes it is in kodi too.
from kodi, music-->file or music--> add source and browse your music folder
Let me be clear, transfere from Android to kodi firestick. Not the app.
There's no such thing as a "kodi firestick", all there is is a firestick on which Kodi has been loaded.
So you need to transfer your music onto the firestick, either from within Kodi or via another app on the stick.
You can do this by sharing the folder on your PC containing the music files and then opening this in the Kodi file manager (via add sources) and use the file manager to copy them across.
Or alternatively do something similar with one of the file manager apps available on the firestick. There are a few available in the amazon store.
