Kodi Community Forum - Help.. Kodi on Himedia Q10 Pro

Hi All,
i'm very idiot and neophyte with Kodi. I had wdtv and now i have buy himedia Q10 pro for multimedia files.

I have installed skin AEON and i would like to see my videos with all my thumbs information... cover, themes, actor etc etc etc.

The external drive is organized as below:

sda
-->comedy
-->thriller
-->toon
-->action
-->fantasy
----------->name of move (folder)
--------------------------------> into the folder: folder.jpg (the cover)
wdtv.jpg (thumbs with all metainformation of movie)
move.* (avi or mp4 or mkv)

when i go to kodi--> movie--> sda i see the list of firt organization -> ok-> i see the list of movie inside and just the cover (folder.jpg) on the right of screen (biggesssst)
nothing more. what i can do only is click ok and go inside the folder (name of movie) and click ok on the movie.

I would like to see all my movie like video store.. with all info in one screen.

I'm sure that i have to organize all file in different mode or work in kodi setting.. but i really don't know what i have to do.
Any suggestion? any guide?

the organization above work's good with Wdtv.. but i'm stupid to hope should be fine for kodi also.

It sounds like you have not populated the library with your media.

Please follow this guide to create the Kodi library. Not sure what point you are up to in the setup, or how it conforms to the required conventions, but starting from the first page might be a good idea to ensure everything is named and saved correctly...

i try to follow the guide but nothing change
now i have (WD Western digital my passport) storage name movie
inside the main folder movie1
into
folder (name of movie)
the movie
and folde.jpg (the simple cover of movie)

when i connect the storage on himedia kodi recognize it and name (sda1)
when i launch the scan for scraper .. the system start and use "theaudiodb.com" and not "themoviedb.con or "universal movie scraper" that i have installed and enabled.

it's seems to recognize my entire list of movie like music or i don't know

what i have to do?

That sounds like you have Set Content for Music instead of Movies. See here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_video_sources#Set_Content

You will need to provide a Debug_Log (wiki). The instructions are in my signature. Use the Basic method. Once you have enabled debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, run an Update Library. Once done upload to https://pastebin.com/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com/ and link back here. Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs

Since I have updated my Himedia Q10 Pro with the la official firmware (see below) nothing is going well in KODI 18.3

No addons are working, no connections to the addons servers, no updates of my libraries, I can't connect to the Q10 from my windows laptop

Please help me
