Hi all,
I've Kodi installed on my QNAP Nas and I'm looking for possibility to access kodi via Ethernet and not only via HDMI.
This because I'd like to use it from both my tv that are in two different rooms.
Do you know if there is some add-on or other that can be useful for this ?
Thanks!
You typically would use a different KODI player on each TV. You can add one to your second TV and set it up to access the shared files on the NAS.

I don't see any way to do this as HDMI / Displayport, etc rely on timing information that is sent across the interface, while ethernet using TCP or UDP is packet-based and hence no timing information available.  A more typical solution would be to set the TV as a render target if it can handle DLNA or stream using http or rtmp.  Either solution requires the TV to have some "smart" features.

I suppose Roku, Chromecast, amazon Firestick, etc are all designed to do something like this as "dongles" or so-called "over the top" boxes.
