Hey,

I have used XBMC on my Xbox for the last few years and love it and now I'm looking into running it on a new platform (Mac Mini).

I currently use a FreeBSD file server running Samba to share my files.

I'm not too Mac literate, but can someone please tell me if OS X (or XBMC) will read my SMB shares?

Mac OS X itself has no problems reading SMB shares, and the functionality is also built into the XBMC natively.
