So, I have installed kodi on xfce using crouton on an older Chromebook. It has been working fine for some time till it stopped working. I deleted the whole kodi package and dependencies in xfce , and then installed the newest version, but for some reason it seems to have a problem rendering kodi. It goes from where you can see all the sttuf to just the background, and then glitches back and forth anytime you click anything inside kodi.. This is a fresh install with nothing in it at all , no addons

The chromebook is an unsupported HP Pavilion 14
Maybe I am missing something small, but everything is updated as far as possible and till i reinstalled kodi recently, this chromebook worked great as mediacenter streaming box , even better than my firestick.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
