The time zone used to be at System-Interface-Regional but it’s no longer there in 17.6 How do you set the time zone on Kodi 17.6?
Sorry, but the Regional settings are still in that same location.
Did you perhaps set the menu level to 'Basic', instead of 'Advanced' or 'Expert'?
It’s on expert. I downloaded directly from Kodi.tv. I don’t get it.
It is located here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Interface/Regional

It is the first option- Region Default Format

As you change your User Level seen in the bottom left corner of the screen, more and more options will be come available. But that option is available at the Basic Level
I know this is an old thread but I have the same question.  Has something changed? It is definitely not in that location still and I cannot find it anywhere.
Still in the same place.

Check you have Advanced or Expert level set... https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings#Settings_Level
Well I'm there. Still cant find it. There are just language and units settings.

Explain what it is you are trying to achieve.
I've moved. I'm trying to change the time zone from mountain to central.
That is changed in your underlying operating system. Not sure how to do that on Android, but search through the Android Settings, not the Kodi settings.
Ah. Yup, you're correct. I'm on a Shield TV. Changed the Shield's time and it changed in Kodi as well.  I was confused as I knew for sure I'd changed it within Kodi on my previous Windows machine. Thx.
No problems. Happy it is solved.
Thread marked solved.

The above advice of setting the time zone within the actual device settings, and it automatically setting up for Kodi as well is still Valid...
