With the new release of the remixed season 4 of Arrested Development I was wondering how you can handle this in Kodi.
https://twitter.com/arresteddev/status/9...2605523971

By default I would have a folder "Season 4" and a folder "Season 4 - Remix".
And Kodi would add the new Episodes like the old ones.

So the season 4 would look like this:
  • 4x01
  • 4x01
  • 4x02
  • 4x02
  • [..]
  • 4x14
  • 4x15
  • 4x16
  • 4x17
  • [..]
  • 4x22

Is there a way to tell Kodi that some episodes are not season "4" but "Season 4 remix" or "4b"?
Kodi allows duplicate episodes. It won't list a duplicate Season though. It is then upto you to name them accordingly in Kodi so you can differentiate them, as Kodi has no clue what is normal and what is remuxed.

So just create another series of Season 4 files. Make sure you have the proper Season and episode numbers then append remix. eg... Arrested Development S04E01 -Remix, or separate them into a Season 4- Remix folder.

Within Kodi you will need to rename the titles so you can differentiate the different episodes. Use Context Menu>Manage>Rename Title

Or you can create NFO Files. Link in My Signature below.
