Launching Kodi Krypton there is a loud musical jingle that plays at full volume (no matter the volume settings).

Changing the skin from the default to Confluence Zeitgeist has no change and will play the musical jingle regardless of kodi skin.

Is there a way to disable the musical jingle?

We don't have a music jingle. That will be caused by some add-on or skin you installed.

Post a full Debug Log and we can tell you where it is coming from.

Its a notification from an app in Android. Find the app, and kill it, and no more jingle. See this video...
