Apologies if a video file naming question shouldn't be put in the video support section.

I have a single TV Episode which is split into two separate files. Unfortunately when I split/encoded the original recording (to MKV) I ended up with slightly different video sizes - from memory, one is 640x480 and the other is 640x478 or similar. So I can't seem to join them into one and I no longer have the original recording.

I've read the TV file naming conventions wiki but I don't seem to spot what I need to do to have Kodi scrape and play them as one episode like it can for movies eg. Movie-cd1.avi and movie-cd2.avi.

Is this not possible for TV episodes or can someone give me a hint?

Cheers,
Robert
There is no Split File naming for TV Show episodes.

The only solution that comes to mind is NFO Files and it can get a bit messy.

You would be best off matching the resolution to 640x478 by using a program like Handbrake, then joining using MKVToolNix
Thanks Karelllen, for confirming the wiki is complete, as I found it weird.

Yes, gonna have to fudge the resolution on one of these files I guess.

Cheers,
Robert
