HI,

tvdb scraper has not worked for some time.

An idea ?
Thread moved to the metadata scraper add-ons section.

Which version of the add-on is installed on your device? Can you try to update it?

If it's up to date then we need a debugging enabled debug log (wiki) of a failed scrape.
Yes, I have the latest update. But I do not have a log file anymore.

He does not create himself ?
What is the latest update?
3.0.5
Then post a Debug Log which captures your problem. There is nothing we can do until we get information from you, which seems to be minimal at the moment.
No, the log is no good. For some reason you disabled the Debug Mode right before the Update Library so I can't see what is happening with the scraper. Though I can see the errors, I don't have enough information on what is causing it. Try again with the log.

Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, run the full Update Library. Once done upload to https://paste.ubuntu.com/ and link back here. Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Thanks Alyy

Yes, interesting. I ran the same scrape as you using the French language, and also received the Error 404 messages.

I then set the Fallback language to English, but kept the primary language as French, and it scraped ok, in French.

Can you go into the scraper settings, and change the setting for Fallback to EN and try scraping again. See image here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_video_sour...ow_Scraper

@scudlee, is this something you can look at? This is my log here. Scrape at Line 1078 ... https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/WkN2Bx7z78/

TV Show here. French is available... https://www.thetvdb.com/series/Lost-in-Space-2018
In French the title of the show is "Perdus Dans l'Espace".  Name your folder that, or set the Fallback Language to en, as Karellen did.

This is expected behaviour, searches only run in the language(s) specified - there's no "Lost in Space" in French, so you get 0 hits.
Ohhh, of course!!

Thanks @scudlee, I missed the obvious.

Off-topic... Over at TVDB forum, some complaints about the Plex scraper. Any useful info there for you in the last post? https://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php...47#p133647
It just says what we already knew and corrected for.

Off-off-topic, I just noticed after refreshing my whole library, and seeing most of the artwork change (for the worse) that the API is no longer returning the ratings on any artwork either.  It's all zeroes.
You no longer get the top-rated art, it's just whatever is listed first in the API.

Brace for people blaming the scraper for the drop in artwork quality.  There's nothing we can do.
Yes it works when I change the language in tvdb or change the title in French, but I did not have this problem before. He recognized and changed in the parameterized language.

I think the problem is elsewhere...
an idea ?
