Hi All,

I have the awesome little NVIDIA SHIELD 2017 edition in which I play my films/tv series.
They are stored on my external hard drives which were initially set up on my Windows PC via Kodi.

I connect which ever drive i want and have generated from the 'local information only' the artwork/posters.
Problem is any cover art changes I make via the SHIELD will not Export in the Library settings.
Why? PC exports so why will the NVIDIA Not?

Any help or advice appreciatedSmile

Because apps can not write to non-adopted external drives (other than the apps folder on that drive) unless the app requests permission.  Kodi does not do this, however, Nvidia added a work around and allowed the Shield to create a folder called "NVIDIA_SHIELD" on external drives where all apps can write/delete files without requesting permission.  You need to move your files into that folder if you want to export your library.
