Recently my shield tv just plays my video files until it reaches the last one in the folder I am in. It used to restart from the beginning of the folder once the last video was done. Not sure if this started with the new update or not, but I use the "play from here" option and the next files plays fine, but like i said, once it reaches the last file it won't repeat from the beginning file in the folder, and just stops.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.
Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.
Restart Kodi
3.
Replicate the problem.
If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.
In both instances, you should see the word
DEBUG throughout the log.

I think I did it right. I started the second to last video file in my folder, fast forwarded so it would auto start the last file, then fast forwarded to the last minute of the file to let it finish naturally. Once it finished, the player stopped, but it used to just start back over from the first video file.
