I have IAGL 3.0.4 on kodi 19.2 a usb controller and android tv device . When I launch a game with RetroArch I have to press one of the d-pad buttons on the controller otherwise the controller doesnt work in the game. Is there a way I won't have to press on the d-pad button for the controller to work?
Sorry for the poor print
But I'm new in this raspberry pi world, and a I couldn't transfer all texto to pc.
I'm using Kodi 19 on OMSC, and trying to play atari/genesis games from IAGL using the repository.kodi_libretro_buildbot_game_addons_le_generic
But I don't know what to do to make things right.
Thanks for attention and help.

Your OSMC looks like it's running Linux ARM 32-bit version / ARMv7. LE Generic would be for x86 linux systems. You could try the repository listed for "LibreElec or Raspbian OS / RPi users can install this repository" (armhf, I assume armhf is what armv7l is equivalent to, but I'm not positive on that). Best bet would be to use addons from the official repository, if they exist.

Thanks, I will try this second repository.
There isn't any emulator addons from the official repository. And I can't find any other SO with KODI Matrix to use IAGL version 3.... just OSMC

Here's a good comparison

  • armv7 - ARM architecture version 7. Version 7 is 32-bit.
  • armv8 - ARM architecture version 8. Version 8 added 64-bit support.
  • armv7l - The fourth revision of ARM version 7
  • armhf - Adds an extension to armv7 that allows the CPU to handle floating point numbers in hardware ("hard float" or hf)
  • arm64 - Sometimes used instead of armv8
Also, I thought it'd be a good idea to ship the buildbot repos disabled, to make it easier to pull in another set of cores. Screenshot from latest release:

Hi. I have Nvidia shield kodi 19.2 retroarch and iagl 3.0.4. I tried to play a game from exodos on dosbox pure core and I get iagl error. How do I fix it?
Since a couple of days i am using IAGL on my shield with Kodi. I love it, it works almost perfect.

But how can i lock / set a view type in this add-on? I use kodi 19.2 with the artic zypher reloaded skin.

Addon settings can override view types by section of the addon:

The only caveat is you have to know the viewtype/number that your skin supports. Look for the files here starting with 'View_' to get an idea of what the numbers are for the artic zephyr reloaded skin.

I'm guessing it's this:
